This project was a collaboration of old world traditional design. The Woodwork Solutions Team did a complete remodel of Vicky and John Higgins grand family room. We started with floor to ceiling recessed panel wainscot, and a 12″ dropped coffered ceiling with 2 piece crown moulding. This also included 6″ can lights within each square. To display their art work and family pictures, we built them a 17″X8″ custom entertainment wall with lots of shelving, this entertainment wall consists of matching cabinets on each side of the custom wood fireplace mantel. As the centerpiece of the room, this mantel was designed with recess panel columns and triple stacked mouldings. To the right side of the cabinet is a “hidden door,” which resembles the recess panel wainscot that is throughout the room. Behind this hidden door houses the complete house audio system and video system-installed by Troy Vallin and his team at Custom Installations. The Higgins wished to also modify the step at the room entrance, so we accomplished that by removing the stair rail and built a longer step for a more grand appeal. Dave Monaco and his team installed the granite foe the step, bar top, and fireplace surround. Foe the finishing touch, we finished the bar, entertainment center, and crown moulding within the coffered ceiling in an antiqued cream color. the recessed panel floor-to-ceiling walls were painted in a brown satin to finish off this magnificent transformation. “A COMPLETE TRANSFORMATION” REMODEL RENOVATION IN ORANGE COUNTY, CA

Chris and his wife had just purchased a new home for their family in Fountain Valley, California. As they were expecting a new baby, we had a unique time frame to meet in a house that was completely stripped down to drywall and concrete. We began with installed 71/4″ crown moulding in all rooms, including the vaulted ceilings. Most windows were cased in a 3″ casing. All doors were cased in matching casing. We installed 4″ on center beadboard with chair-rail in the baby’s room. Downstairs powder bath was finished in 51/2″ tongue and groove which was run from floor to ceiling with 51/4″ colonial crown moulding. We installed a plant-on style wainscot throughout the downstairs living area. This was accomplished by skinning the wall and installing 21/1″ casing to create squares. We installed a custom-built entertainment center in the family room. We finished the house off with 51/4″ baseboards throughout. Many home enhancements such as crown molding require painting for a clean finished look. The paint process may seem overwhelming to the residents of the home while it is being painted. This video was made to show our customers exactly what the paint process entails.

 

 

This space was in need of added functionality, so our Woodwork Solutions design and installation team enhanced and renovated a custom entertainment wall in Ladera Ranch, California.  Our newly created woodwork design included an entertainment center, bookcase, wainscot, and custom fireplace mantel.  Lastly, as the finishing touch our craftsman topped it off with beautiful crown moulding.

 

 

 

Proudly featuring custom installation of fine moldings at the beautiful Cavallari Estate in Laguna Beach, California.  This broad scope of work by Woodwork Solutions showcases the installation of Craftsman Style Cherry (downstairs) & Walnut (upstairs) baseboards, as well as beautiful window and door casings throughout the estate.  The main entry was greatly enhanced through the usage of Mahogany beaded tongue and groove ceiling design. Lastly, both interior and exterior solid core doors were expertly installed, as well as customized Mangueras exterior railings, and a luxurious Sauna.
